On Saturday, about 30 people protested outside Kitchener-Waterloo Liberal MP Andrew Telegdi's office against his stance on same-sex marriage. There number is pretty pathetic considering thousands turned out for the protests against deporting illegal refugees in other cities and most of the people were older than 50. The spokesperson for Defend Traditional Marriage said that gay marriages hurt children, yet, as one gay couple mentioned, the protesters have no problem when single parents raise children.
The free vote that the Conservatives promised to bring forward for revisiting same-sex marriage will not happen until, at least, the fall session.
I wonder why Defend Marriage does not go to talk to my MP, Conservative Harold Albrecht, who currently working on a bill to toughen the Young Offenders Act. They should ponder which is more important.

Is that a threat? Do not the Bible say do not judge? Anyone who says I will got to hell, will go to hell.
Bro Tim,
Apparently, you believe in the same thing as Kent Hovind, that if you tell a lie long enough, loud enough, and often enough, the people will believe it. The secret to get someone to believe a lie is constant repetition. Just tell it over, and over, and over again. I did not say Hovind was stupid but a liar. And I back it up with facts.
You have just as much to lose eternity in heaven as I do. You just because you claim to be "fire-proof" does not mean you will be let into heaven.
Matthew 7: 1-2 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure yo use, it will be measured to you."
Bro. Tim,
While I may have no qualifications on Biblical study, it is obvious that it is hypocritical to claim that you are "saved" and believe you will get into heaven automatically.
As I have said before, evolution is not religion. Saying it, does not make it so. I know and you know it.
May God give you a chance to not be fooled by false prophets and teachers. I suggest instead of condeming anything that you do not like, that help out people and charities. That is what being Christian is about and will, more likely, get you to paradise.
By the way, Bro Tim,
What do you think about Rev. Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church protesting at soldiers funerals like at Arlington National Cemetery? This is why I am an agnostic Christian.
Bro Tim,
If being a Christian is just to "believe through grace" and not to do anything good, you have no purpose in life. Even Jesus did good things for people.
You do not like it when I judge your beliefs, so why do you judge mine? We are both are trying to convince each other is in the wrong. But we both know what is right and that is when the "truth" hurts.
Bro Tim,
What exactly did you do that you needed to be saved? Also, I am not sure if you understood what I was trying to get through with Rev. Phelps. His protests are due to his belief that the American government approves homosexuality and that is why soldiers are dying in Iraq.
My aunt was theologian professor and wrote to me that God has a plan for me. So, exposing the truth of the Bible, such as pointing out that the last two verses of 2 Chronicles are the same two verses in the beginning of Ezra, is what I do. The Bible was written in different languages and by unknown people. The creation and flood stories are copies of other religious stories (Epic Of Gilgamesh).
Being an agnostic means that I do not know if there is a God. As a Christian, I know that Jesus was a spiritual man who helped people in need. Whether or not, you like it, the truth hurts.
Preach Bro Tim, Preach! Amen!
